From traditional, toe‑tapping pantomimes and gripping murder mysteries, to comedies, one‑act plays, and everything in between — we love putting on something for every taste and age.

Our productions are staged at Bozeat Church Community Hall, and we pride ourselves on keeping shows affordable, accessible, and full of community spirit.

Let Us Tell You A Story

Established in 1986, Bozeat Players is an amateur dramatics group dedicated to staging a variety of performances. Based in the village of Bozeat, we aim to foster a love for theater, provide training workshops for young actors, and create memorable seasonal events.

Join us in celebrating the art of performance! From our very humble beginnings with little to no equipment, to our shows becoming more adventurous with each passing year.

Bozeat Players is now established as a part of Bozeat Village life, and have donated over the years to many local groups and good causes. We enjoy and need support from a local following as well as further afield.

We have a dedicated core cast who have been with us for years as well as new cast members joining every year. We even have some members who have been with us since 1986 so 'well done to them'. We are continually looking for new talent both on stage and behind the scenes

* On stage: Act, sing, or take a lead role

* Behind the scenes: Build sets, paint scenery, manage lighting & sound, create costumes, or help with front‑of‑house and publicity

* All ages & abilities: Whether you’re 7 or 77 , a first‑timer or a seasoned performer, you’ll find a warm, supportive place here

The show was good to see as a first time panto goer. Jokes where good, actors appeared motivated and in good spirit. You can tell that scene décor had been well planned. Also a nice surprise that i was pulled on stage as a delayed birthday surprise as my best friend (one of the actors) was busy on the actual birthday

The murder mystery play was so much fun! The story kept me guessing the whole time and just when I thought I had figured out who did it, the ending completely surprised me. The actors were fantastic, funny, dramatic, and totally believable, and the mix of suspense and humor made it super entertaining. Definitely one of the most enjoyable shows I’ve been too!
